7 Steps to Get Connected
1 Sunday Celebration
Our worship services are a time to celebrate together, worship together, discover together, and laugh together. It is a time to connect with god and others as we seek to better understand who He is and who we are.
2 Welcome to Westlake
This three week class gives you an overview of the church. You will have the chance to meet and connect with other new people as well as the staff and Board of Directors. We will also talk about Westlake's beliefs, purposes, values, and ministries.
3 Quest
This is a 12 week class for those exploring the basics of the Christian faith. Take advantage of the opportunity to meet others on the same journey of faith discovery that you are on. We will address questions such as: "Who is Jesus and why did He have to die?" "Who is the Holy Spirit?" "Why and how do I read my Bible and pray?"
4 Discipleship Essentials
This 25 week study will help you connect with God in new ways as you grow in your knowledge of what it means to be a fully devoted follower of Christ.
5 Community Groups
These small groups of 4 - 12 people are designed to help you connect in community, encourage one another to grow spiritually toward full devotion to Christ, and meet the needs of the group and greater community.
6 Discipleship Electives
These classes are designed to help you grow in full devotion to Christ in the areas of Grace, Growth, Groups, Gifts, and Generosity. Classes change often and are offered on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings.
7 Serving in the ministry of the church
We believe that using your gifts to serve in the ministry of the church is a great way to connect with others and honor God. It is our desire that you would take the Welcome to Westlake class and worship with us for three months before getting involved in serving in ministry.
